Difference in texture appearance

Hi,

I recently noticed this strange behavior in the SD viewport:
2 coplanar same-texture surfaces appear to have sligthly different darkness. This defect improves when playing around with the lighting/scene settings. We used the SD components for visualization inside GH. Any idea what could be the fix?

Could you share a link to a ShapeDiver model showing the issue?

As far as I see, the same issue already exists in Rhino/Grasshopper:

You could try to play with welding meshes and cleaning up normals in your meshes.
