Hi All
Is it really not possible to have the scale of a detail (1:10, 1:50 etc.) printed as auto text for use in eg. title blocks?

In the meantime, this might be well scriptable, I haven’t had the time to do it, but I made a script that that automatically changes the scale to a sensible nearest number for each detail on the page. So since I already have this information, it could well be added to the document as user text and then changed on your sheet. Thing is though: when there are multiple details, how do you want it to function? What I can think of is that you select one detail, run a script that generates a page scale value and then it updates the scale info on the page. But there will be some user action needed to generate the user text I think.

here’s a quick take at it:

sets the name of all the details in your pages to its scale. After that you can set a text to be equal to a detail’s name
