I’ve been having a problem while drafting in my layouts where layout objects (dimension lines, leaders, linework, hatching, etc) are behind the objects in my detail.
Here are two screenshots of how lines in my layout disappear behind the model in my detail - unselected and selected.
A colleague has opened my file on their computer and it’s still happening, I’ve tried copying everything into a new file and it continues, and I’ve tried clearing my Draw Order but that sends all of the layout objects back after using Bring to front and brings the detail views forward.
I’m not seeing that here in a quick test. Could you please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here. Also, a simple 3dm file that shows the behavior on your end would help troubleshooting this issue.

Here’s a really simple file where you can see the dimension lines in the layout being covered by the model in the detail. Layout problem test file.3dm (11.9 MB)
Thanks! This appears to be caused by the layer color of the “Glazing” layers. Those are somewhat transparent, and when objects on such layers are used in block definitions, they cause display issues.
I’ve put this specific one on the bug list as RH-75642 Display: Block transparency issue - II.
For now, the workaround is to either use non-transparent colors, or explode the block instances.
