Howdy folks!
I know how to add tool buttons to the middle button pop-up menu, but I can’t see how to delete one. In a few video’s I saw an “x” to the right under edit tools, but on version 8 I don’t see that. How do I delete tools from this menu?

Hover over the button you want to ditch and hold down the Shift key; you’ll get a tooltip that says Move/Edit. Drag the button off the palette while still holding Shift, and you should get a confirmation dialog.
How this is supposed to be discoverable is beyond me.
It’s standard operating procedure for all toolbars, the popup is no different. Editing toolbars is well outlined in the help.

That being posted, I do find the V8 help for the UI stuff is much harder to navigate and find what you are looking for than the V7 help was. Which goes together with the over-complexity of the UI itself in V8.
However, editing toolbars (moving/copying/deleting buttons) has not changed since V2 (for Windows Rhino users).
Yep. Except I’ve only been using since V6 and that is about 1 year. Thanks!
