I think the default view when we get to discourse.mcneel.com, as discussed previously here: How do we make Categories the default view?
We currently land on the “latest” page and I think it can be quite confusing for new users about what is going on and if they have a question it’s hard to guess into which category the question should be.
The “latest” view is useful for frequent visitors but is forbidding for first-timers.
