What are these and how can I get rid of them?
No, I can’t share the file, so let me describe:
It looks as when you are editing a block instance and everything else turns dark grey. Only, these objects are outside of any instance.
They’re on a layer, though, because when I hide one particular layer, they disappear…

Hello
have you checked if the objects are not locked or is the layer on which the objects are locked ?

The layer is unlocked. How can I check if any individual objects are locked?

Hi
Just right click on the lock, that should unlock all objects.

God damnit, I discovered why I get these locked objects now!
At some point during block editing, when I’m exploding sub blocks, the main block somehow gets exploded as well… only, it leaves behind a copy of itself that is locked, essentially duplicating ALL objects, without warning.

So now this sounds like a genuine bug. Could you cook up a file you can share that demonstrates this and get it to Pascal and the bigger brains?

Great! Thank you @kunf !
This solved the problem to me too.
It seems like this is still a bug in 2022, as it happened to me today with the last service release: can you do something @stevebaer ?
Bye.
