barely use curve piping but i thought it would be nice if it remembered the last settings when applying it. the way it is now if i select a curve and apply curve piping and adjust the thickness then select another curve, go to apply curve piping and it defaults to another value.
What you’re describing are what we call “sticky” settings.
Let’s drill down a bit.
Non-sticky settings revert to defaults every time the command is used.
Session sticky settings remember the last used setting within that Rhino session. When you close and restart Rhino, the settings revert back to defaults.
Permanent sticky settings are saved on exit and restored when Rhino is restarted.
I don’t know what Curve piping is supposed to do.
It sounds like they are “non-sticky”.
My guess is resetting them to defaults when closing and restarting Rhino might be best.
IMHO, session sticky would be useful for most users. Permanent probably wouldn’t hurt anyone but is also probably not very important to very many users.

Definitely session sticky gets my vote.

Hi @John_Brock and all
I rarely use curve piping, but it’s a real life saver, when needed. I’d go with session sticky as well, as it seems plausible, that you would need the same diameter within a given project.

PS And I upvoted one of the session sticky comments!
