Curve not complete while drawing

When I draw a curve in Top view, the display is not complete in other viewports:

Yes I know, it’s Intel graphics, but the effect is not seen in older Rhino versions.

Do you know if this happen in previous service releases?
Does this happen for a specific file or any file?

Not for sure, I only think it was ok in SR8 or so.
But I’d try if you point me to a former release installer.

Happens in a every new doc from template.

I sent you an sr8 installer. Does the curve show after you complete the curve command? Dynamic drawing while creating the curve and the final curve are drawn using different techniques.

Yep.

Let us know if Rhino 8.8 makes a difference.
-wim

Tried 8.8, no difference.

Then I fiddled with OpenGL settings step by step.

Finally I activated “GPU Tesselation” - feedback drawing now works.
I don’t know what the default setting for this is.

In the SystemInfo, the GPU Tesselation is not mentioned.
Perhaps this info should be mentioned along with the OpenGL level?

Is there a setting for adjusting the line width of the feedback curve?

Hi Charles -

I’ve added that as RH-84033 SystemInfo: Add GPU Tessellation State
-wim

Before this is lost, I ask again…
