What version of Rhino are you running?
Is there a clipping plane? Please provide more information so that we can help. Running SystemInfo in the command line is really helpful as well.

Are you using a modified Display Mode by chance?
I ask because it appears to be a Shaded display mode with surface edges/iso curves turned off and I’m guessing perhaps curves are turned off as well.
Here’s a Shaded Mode with Curves turned off (where I drew a polyline):

Here’s the same view in Rendered Mode with Curves on (note how I can now see AND select the polyline:

Hi Matias - first, update the driver for the video card from the ATI website. If that does not fix it, please try this - in Options >View > OpenGL page, Uncheck the setting for ‘GPU Tessellation’.

I agree. 99.9% of the time this happens to me it’s usually display mode settings related.
