Based on the images below, I’m trying to attach the blue swipe over the base grey sphere. Both objects having been extruded or lofted, I need them to coincide their curves perfectly overlapping based on the grey circles being it’s base holder.
As you can see in the last image, the sphere is the Base of the project. The blue swipe and top/bottom part of Africa are just roaming around the project.
Instead of having the blue swipe and Africa continent be on a flat surface, I would like them to match the curves of the sphere to
The base of the objects that I want to change (the blue swipe and the Africa continent) is flat. I want that base to be curbed in order to match the same curve of the semi-sphere. Is there a command that will allow me to perform this technique? If not, do you recommend any reconstruction of the base that will give me the exact curvature of the sphere?

In the attached .3dm Rhino 5 file, I have hidden the original creation of TOP/BOTTOM Africa. Please type SHOW to view them. The 2D logo is the one I am recreating in 3D format.
This project’s goal is to export into a Maya file so that I can have it rotate 360 degrees displaying the 2D logo in 3D.
I have not received any reply from you based on my last response. I’m assuming you are overloaded with replies to provide online; but since you have understood my request and even resolved it, I am coming back to you imploring you directions and steps on HOW TO.
Please take a moment to reply, I would be immensely grateful to you.
Hi Hamza - yes, I know I am lagging, I will try to a) make the mapping a little cleaner than the first shot, and b) give you the tools to do it as well - I should be able to get to it soon. Soon-ish.
I’m aware that you are very busy; but I’m thankful that you have understood my issue. Just please don’t forget my case, my work is on hold until I can move on to export and continue on Maya.
Good luck to you
