Ctrl + Tab no longer works to switch between viewports

I noticed that Ctrl+Tab is no longer working in the last WIP to switch between viewports, this is annoying since I use that all the time.

@dale @Gijs Had this ever been resolved? I am running into a similar problem with Version 8 SR3
(8.3.24009.15001, 2024-01-09).

If you use CTRL+(SHIFT+)TAB in the seconds after a command, Rh8 will switch two viewports at once:

I’ve used the gumball here, but it happens on all other commands I use too.

Can you reproduce this?

It feels related to the new sluggishness and milliseconds of short freezes Rh8 has.

hi @DuncanW I see that here, though it’s not time related, I tried a couple of different commands, like a Box, FilletEdge, Rectangle. What’s odd is that the first two have this issue, but Rectangle doesn’t. I also noticed that rotating or moving the view after the command will ‘fix’ this.

Many thanks. And yes you’re right that moving the viewport (ie giving it focus) “fixes” it.

Do you also get the mini freezes or is that unrelated?
