Someone else also had the problem today
I installed the new NVidia driver this morning before starting Rhino. After that I started Rhino and the shortcut was working for a while. It was fter that when in the normal course of working the GUI suddenly stopped responding to that command. Nothing even shows up on the CLI. Rebooted the machine but the problem persists.
just with with the wip, or v8 too?

Ah. I’ve posted in the wrong place I guess, or maybe this got moved. I didn’t notice that it was a WIP category. (The forum recommended this thread when I was starting a new post in the general Rhino forum.) I’m just using the general release Rhino 7 SR 38.
I solved it. When I installed the NVidia driver I installed some sort of dashboard which NVidia was recommending to those in creative enterprise situations. I usually avoid such things, and should have again. Now that I have uninstalled the dashboard component that shortcut worked again. I imagine the Nvidia thing runs on top of the OS and hijacks certain keyboard commands. Shift+start+S wouldn’t do a screen capture until it was uninstalled either.
