Create Sublayer, tab, rename, tab, rename doesn't work the same anymore

It seems the process of adding a sublayer and renaming then hit tab and rename the layer and hit tab again and rename does not work anymore.

Tab used to select the new layer name. Now it just adds a new layer and the focus goes to the command line

Can you be very specific with images too. I look and it seems the control still behaves the same. But I expect I am missing some of the exact steps you are taking.

  • click new Sublayer button
  • a sublayer is added and the layer name is selected and I can type
  • press tab
  • a second sublayer is added but the layer name is not selected
  • when I continue typing, the text appears in the command line
