Create and write to a new excel file

Trying to export a data tree to a new spreadsheet instead of an existing one. Lunchbox used to work but inconsistently. Some days it would work fine other days it would just start throwing complicated errors.

Others suggest TTToolbox, but I can’t seem to generate and save a new excel file automatically.

My data is straigh-forward so reverted to csv streaming which is much faster. But excel would have been nicer for plugging in other tasks.

Am I using TTT wrong perhaps? I provided a path and everything but unless there is a file present it does not use the path. Whereas Lunchbox did.

You can link the *.csv file in your Excel sheet. I’ve used various plugins but I’m now quite happy with streaming to *.csv

CSV is so much faster to stream I will probably do the same now.
