Crashing when exporting and scaling problem

Hello,

lately I have trouble saving viewport to file. Especially when scaling it for better quality.
Either the program crashes and doesn’t save at all or it saves like on the picture. (Same problem when exporting it to pdf.)
(If the upload didn’t work, I try to explain it: It simply shows one edge or just parts of the model but multiple times. So it shows on the jpeg e.g. 7 times the same edge of my model.

I did all updates, reinstalled the programm, used a zoo license and tried with the test version… nothing solves the problem.
Does anybody have the same problem?

I dont’t know what else to try…

Thanks in advance!

maybe it’s your computer. could you run ‘SystemInfo’ in the rhino commandline and paste the results here?
also, if you share your model we can check it out

This ist what it says:

Maybe you are right. I’ve send models to friends using Rhino and there was no problem in saving it.
I also did a new project, but same problem.

Quader_Test.3dm (3.0 MB)

It also used to work on that computer, so I don’t know what is different now… Ah!
Thanks for checking it.

I’m afraid your specs are a bit limited for smooth rendering. But i’m not sure if this could result in odd outputs like yours. it seems to work fine here… does it render in your viewport? you could try to make screenshots as a workaround
what do you think @pascal ?

Rendering or not doesn’t make any difference. Here is a different (also very simple model, but still it doesn’t work):

(Sorry, my Rhino is German, but I think you get what I mean… )

Same setting, but even different wrong output…

it’s your videocard, most probably. Besides trying to update your videocard drivers, i’ve no clue.
I see you have your model in Rendered view in the viewport, of which you try to ‘capture to file’… you can also make screenshots as a quickfix for now

Hello - your Mac OS is a bit behind - I would update that if it is possible for that machine. That will also update the video drivers.
