Corrupted Layout Display

Been using Rhino 7 for Mac evaluation for a few days and I love it! Will purchase later today.

I created a model in Rhino 7 on my iMac. I restarted to Windows 10 and began editing the file. While working on one of the layouts the display became corrupted. Switching back and forth between model view and layouts seemed to correct the problem. See attached sketches that illustrate the problem.

Any ideas what causes the problem?

Hello - can you please run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/paste the results?

-Pascal

Hello Pascal,

Here you go! To be clear, this is an iMac 27” 5K (Late 2015) running Windows 10 via Bootcamp.

Your GPU driver is from 2017. [gasp]
Here’s one from 12/8 2020

Any better?

Thanks for finding that link. Unfortunately, it has this to say:

NOTE:
This driver is not intended for use on AMD Radeon products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their system manufacturer for driver support.

I’ll reboot to MacOS to see if I can update on that end.

John pointed me in the right direction. Specific instructions for upgrading drivers on an iMac running Boot Camp can be found here:

I’m lovin’ Rhino 7!

I’ve upgraded my video drivers, but after a phew days the problem has returned. The problem occurred immediately after issuing a Save command (hopefully, Rhino 7 will eventually ask for the upgrade license I purchased last week). Any ideas what is going wrong?:
