Converting to quads -- any update?

I’ve been a Rhino user for about 10 years and recently have been looking to up my game modeling skills. I’m finding that my Rhino 3ds and obj exports lack clean quad topology, and I haven’t found an easy way to fix them in 3DS Max. Is there any update for the quadrangulateRemesh function planned, or a best practice to get 100% quad output from Rhino?
