Hello everyone,
I’m having trouble accessing the command-line options for the Convert to SubD (ToSubD) command on Rhino for Mac. The documentation says I should be able to set parameters such as MeshCreases and MeshCorners, but I can’t see any of those options.
The only panel I get shows the basic prompt, and when I press Enter it just converts the mesh to SubD using the default settings. Has anyone run into this on Mac, or knows how to reveal the full set of options?
Thanks!
which version are you using? it works here
I checked fo updates and should be the latest one…Rhino 8 8.26
Anyway good to know it works fine on your end!
ok i am using Version 8 (8.27.25350.10542, 2025-12-16) maybe it helps if you update to the service release candiate.
go to your Rhino options and look for this
I tried it but the problem doesn’t disappear…I even restarted the software and the Mac but still nothing changes. I wonder what it is…
Anyway thank you very much for your help!
My bad, now it works, thank you very much for your help!
it might be helpful if you could share what you did to make it work, for others running into the same issue at least. i believe it had the same issue once and had to reset rhino but that was at times where Rhino 8 was in such a serious mess and resetting it was something i did plenty of times, but that was a while ago and i never saw it happen again.
In the end, the issue was with the ToSubD command alias. I accidentally changed it, but after restoring the original alias, everything works again!
Hope this helps
