Control points outside a section plane cannot be selected

Hi guys,
I already have a bad conscience about only asking for bugs or problems here, but here’s another one:

May there’s a bug for selecting control points of a surface which is excluded from a section plane.
In my example there is a grey wall element, which I trimmed with a section plane (yellow).
In front of that grey wall element is an organic shaped surface (white) which I excluded from the section plane (in the section plane setting you can see that I’ve excluded one object – this is the white surface).
Now, if I wanna select the upper control points of that curved surface (whose tip is outside the sectional view) I can’t select these control points. All control points which are “inside” the non-trimmed area I can select normaly.

I tried to turn on control points with F10 and the command. I also have tried to copy the model into a clean file and tried different views. I also unchecked all selection filters.

May this is this a bug?

I see this as well, thanks for reporting RH-86609

RH-86609 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 19 Release Candidate

Thanks, Brian & Japhy! :folded_hands:
