Is it possible to configure the Shaded View setting so that solids with snapping lines in the center and points on ends & middle are visible? Ideally without having to resort to transparency since has a big hit on performance.
Issue is to see the snapping lines ‘Show curves’ & ‘X-Ray all wires’ must be on. It’s almost there but with ‘X-Ray all wires’ it also makes all back face edge lines penetrate through like wireframe, these back edge lines are not desired to be seen.
Want to look like this BricsCAD shaded with edges RGB 50,50,50 but need to see the inside blue line that’s the snapping line and the middle centre point
This is Rhino Show curves’ & ‘X-Ray all wires’ disabled Show surface edges, but it’s missing the coloured edges
This is Rhino with Show curves’ & ‘X-Ray all wires’, but also Show Surface Edges, so we get the edges and the blue snap line lines but all the surface edges on back faces come through like wireframe, not desired.
Other query is about Point Display, is it possible to set point size 5mm Absolute, this would mean we see the points zoomed in but won’t see them zoomed out since the size is set to be absolute not relative to zoom.
Currently this is how the points look zoomed out (be a huge blob mess with 1,000’s of points in a model and viewport performance would suffer).
