Is the commands bar in this version present only when you start typing? Or is there a way of having a window for the commands to be typed in?

go Rhinoceros-> Preferences-> Legacy
tick ‘use text field for command line and options’
relaunch rhino

I am using Rhino 7 on a Mac and still can not find how to reveal a command bar like in the windows version; where I can see the command and all its history and variations available to click on them.
all I have is a space to type a command…
Any ideas ?

This is a 9 year old topic… But, I guess nothing much has changed in that direction since then. There is no command line in Rhino for Mac that works like the one in Rhino for Windows. All you have on Mac is a “command search”.
I understand the Rhino for Mac interface is being revamped for V8, but I have no idea if anything will change in this regard.
