Can you post a screenshot showing the problem and also the 3dm file please?
I’m unable to duplicate that in Windows 10

In V6, in the Panels pull-down menu, turn on Notifications.
Is there a message about updating your display driver?
there is, i’ve tried different drivers but it hasn’t helped
Here’s a link to the latest Win 7 driver.
It was posted on Monday:

Use the Advanced option and choose to do a “Clean install”.
I tried those drivers and multiple previous versions. Problem still exists in Rhino v6 Version 6 SR15
The only other thing I can think might be the working display mode you’re using might be tweaked.
In Options > View > Display modes, are the ones you’re using listed in a violet colored font? If so, that’s a visual indication the setting have been diddled.
Click on the Restore Defaults button. When the name goes black again, you’re back to defaults.
Does that have any affect on the display?
No, unfortunately restore defaults didn’t change anything
This might be a bug in how the driver works with tessellation shaders and clipping planes. Try turning GPU tessellation off in the OpenGL settings page to see if this makes any difference.
Good call! Actually, I had it off and turning it back on fixed the issue
