Clipping Mask for 2D drawings?

Hey, I was wondering if its possible to hide everything outside a given perimeter, like a clipping mask for an image.

Sometimes I have to export drawing to certain paper sizes, and so I would like to show certain information for a given scale. So my limiting perimeter is smaller than the drawing. I often simply trim the parts that are out of the perimeter, and export to illustrator.

How can I avoid trimming my drawing? Is there an export window option?

Hi Shynn - I guess maybe making a Layout, even if it only looks at your Make2d output, is the way to go.

Oh ok, I guess so.

I cant export to AI there, but I suppose I can save as pdf and then open it up in illustrator for final touches. Thanks, will try to get into the habit of using the layout viewport.
