The WIP (8.0.23115.4305, 2023-04-25) no longer displays the date and time of the last viable check for an update. The link that allows a user to “Check now” has gone.
These are both helpful features in R7.

Both are still in the (8.0.23122.22305, 2023-05-02) version that I’m currently running so something must have made those gone missing on your system.
I’d install the latest public WIP and see if that resolves that issue.

Just to cover the bases, I did a repair of the WIP installation and the features are still missing.
Mine is the same as above
This should be fixed, let us know if it isn’t

Does what does it do?
Since 2017 at least “Check now” in the WIP has not immediately checked to see if a new version is available. Update check not right working - #11 by davidcockey
Mine still does not auto update even if I check now for update.
Immediate update using “Check now” was turned off for WIP circa 2017. See the thread I linked above for a discussion at that time. It can take a day or so to be able to update the WIP after the update is made available.
