Currently it prints as a solid. Need a bit more separation in the dots of the hidden line. How to change this?
Thanks.
Hi Peter - it is not possible to control this. You can use Make2D
to get curves and apply line types to those.

Ok thanks
Hello @wim following this post is it possible on the latest v8 release to use an other type of linetype for technical view? dashed line instead of dots?..
Thank you
Hi Antoine -
For Rhino 8, there are two different sides to that question.
On one side, there is that what you see in the viewport that is set to the Technical
display mode. This part of Rhino hasn’t changed from previous versions and you still can’t change the look of hidden lines. The feature request / bug report for this issue is on the list as RH-28537 Technical mode hidden lines need dot/dash spacing control
On the other side, there is printing, which is what Peter asked about in the original post in this thread. In Rhino 8, if you have a viewport or detail in a technical display mode, and you print to a vector PDF file, the hidden lines will follow the definition of the Hidden
linetype in the document:
You’ll need to change the segment lengths so that they are appropriate for the scale of your model. The viewport display and the print preview don’t reflect the final PDF result, so there is a bit of trial and error at the moment…
