I really should know this, I may have forgotten - but it’s been a while since I’ve used Rhino.
I have two split A4 details which need to be overlaid, so I drew them in the model space within an A4 border and dimensioned them, due to the fact that I can’t centre or move the detail within the drafting window.
If I make the view 1:1 and have a point in the paper space I can then move the drafting window and snap the details to the same place on the A4 page, but it seems like a bit of an odd work around and I’m guessing (hoping) that there is a command that I don’t know, which I can use to facilitate this?
First world problems, I know, but I thought I’d ask.
I did it the obvious way, so it’s not the end of the world, but any bits I may not know which save a few mins here and there mount up over time
The other thing I was wondering is… It would be helpful if a drafting window could be locked in so far as the detail in the window staying relative to the window when rotated, the same way it is if it’s moved along the X and Y axis..
I can move a drafting window so that the detail moves on the drawing sheet, but I can’t rotate the window and have the content rotate with it too.
Cheers
Andy
