Can't use the command "Redo" after a "Copytoclipboard"

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem but quite annoying.

I used to be able to do one or several Ctrl+Z to go back to something I deleted → copy it → Ctrl+Y to go back to my initial state. But for some reason now on Rhino 8, the moment I copy something and try to Ctrl+Y, copying is actually considered a “new modification of your current work” and therefore it doesn’t do anything and just says “Nothing to restore”.

And here’s the example with changing the display mode instead of copying

What I did with display mode, I used to be able to do it with Copy but it doesn’t anymore.

I don’t have Rhino 7 anymore but I’m pretty sure it still works there.

Does someone know if there’s a setting to change or a Rhino update ?

Hi @BONDU psl run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results.

Hi Bondu -

Please stay up-to-date!
The current version for Rhino 8 is 8.32, released two weeks ago.

I just updated my Rhino right now and I still can’t do a “Redo” after a Copy

You have a lot of plugins installed. Does the problem happen when you disable those and restart Rhino?

Do you think my problem could be related to this window that I get everytime I open a rhino 8 ?

Or is it really the plugins I have ?

With a bit of research into my plugins, I discovered that there’s a command called “MultiPipe” in the basic command.rhp of rhino and that my Rhinogold had something called “MultiplePipe” in it which is why I had that weird window of before and it was also the problem of my initial questions.

Now that I desactivated the RhinoGold plugin, everything works fine. Thanks for your help !
