Can't switch off texture for single object only all objects

Can some tell me how to apply no texture but colour only to the highlighted one? Can control the repeat value and therefore scale the pattern but can’t switch it off since the texture would be gone on all objects. Thanks for your help!

Just select that item and apply the color you want to it in the materials.

Thanks @lopacki but won’t work but only change the main colour for every part (when I switch off the texure afterwards) Thanks for your clarification.

Hi Hannes,

take a look at the yellow text box at the top of material panel. It tells you the same material is shared in several instances (objects or layers). So - click Duplicate button first, and then edits to the material will apply only to the current object (like no texture, color etc.)
