When I modeled in Rhinoceros 8 for Mac and imported the STL data into Anycubic’s Workshop slicing application, the support pillars did not generate as expected, and I was unable to proceed with printing.
I offset the polygon mesh to give the object thickness, then take it into MeshMixer to round the edges and perform other operations, and afterward bring it back into Rhinoceros — going back and forth between the two applications during the workflow.
If Anycubic import the model and try to slice it give me the idea that the mesh from Rhino is correct (closed and without bad faces).
The fact that you export to Mesh Mixer, then back to Rhino and after that to Anycubic is another thing that I don’t get… can’t you go directly from Mesh Mixer to Anycubic? Or there are other problems?
Post a model, a screen capture or something that people can give a look because at the moment is very difficult to find a solution…
