Dear Rhino team,
I do not seem to be able to find a way to edit aliases in rhino 8 for Mac. Can it be? I am not talking about shortcuts but rather aliases. For example I want to set that when I hit co + enter it is always copy and not copy to clipboard. Is this not an option anymore?
works here, maybe the COn and COff aliases get in the way?
Hi encephalon, thanks for the reply.
For me when I type in “co” the automatic command filler suggests copytoclipboard as a first choice. But this was just an example.
Since I used to set my own aliases for many commands the basic point of the topic is if I still have this option.
Thanks for any help,
you can add, delete any kind of aliases here, by clicking on the plus sign on the left bottom part you enter CO (or whatever alias you like of course) and on the other side _Copy. or does that not work for you?
Yes thank you so much! I had trouble locating where the aliases are as in the windows version rhino it used to be slightly different. I tried typing in aliases in command line did not bring me results.
Anyway thanks a lot!
ok i see, just in case you are entirely new to mac, most of the settings in many apps can be reached by using cmd + , be aware that only apps that use the apple recommended schemes work that way.
i personally dislike how the rhino settings look like on mac, i am not a huge fan of the windows version either but it seems more orderly there. this one resembles how older mac os system settings looked like, which by the way dont look like that anymore for quite a while, i hope all that will change at some point

Yes I believe rhino is much better on windows, up to now I have not been crazy with how it is written for MAC. Oh well…
Thanks again for providing the solution to this one and the useful tips.
Best regards
