I am having a lot of problems with the editor for a C# component inn GH…the old editor opened in a small window but the new one takes over the whole screen and when I close it I no longer have the split screen with rhino and GH. When I try to get GH and rhino back together I often loose the GH window and although it is listed in the Rhino Window menu I cannot get it to show up. When I try to close Rhino it hangs…
Also , if I delete a C# component GH crashes sometimes.
I have no problems with the old C# component which I still have in many files.
Which Rhino version (Please send SystemInfo
report) and component are you using? I am assuming it is this:
- The editor should be virtually the same size as the older C# editor. It does remember its last size though so if you have the editor full screen and save the grasshopper document, next time the component editor is gonna open full screen again.
- Are you sending crash logs when Rhino crashes deleting the C# component? Which email do you use to log these crashes under so I can look them up on our end
I think that any crash logs have come from Giusseppe@me.com or metalgarden@me.com…
I have found a partial solution…if I don’t pair the rhino and gh windows on one desktop (using left and right) then the script edit window is small as normal and there is no problems when I close the edit window.
However, if I pair the windows then the edit window becomes full screen and once closed leaves the GH window full screen and I have to go through a routine everytime of minimising both gh and rhino windows before I can have them on one desktop again. This problem does not occur with an older C# component…the edit window just opens and closes without effecting the paired windows.
I am using the latest builds.
By the way this problem occurs on the 9WIP also.
