(bug) viewcapturetoclipboard - wrong color

Version 8 (8.22.25217.12452, 2025-08-05) on mac intel

wrong colors for some scaling / dimensions
all curves should be green !!!

Have you tried pasting this result into an image processing app? I tested it here, and it seems pretty normal, for your reference.

preview and affinitiy photo show black lines also for a 825px wide shot:

it looks like the problem is linked to the scale-factor in the dialog.
if i choose factor 1.0 the colors are correct.
yesterday i had another monitor setup 831px wide, today 825 wide → both widths with the color-issue

can you repeat the color-issue with an imagecaputre using a factor so you get close to 831px in x ?

It works fine with scale factor 0.3. Sorry I found that I tested it in Rhino 8.24.

looks like the pixel result / width is important - not the factor:

825px

… ok looks like you can not repeat the issue…
i can - and very robust…

i added a red rectangle that shows my +/- 2 px zoom

my alchemistic suspicion is, it has to do with the zoom / size / pixel relation…

this issue still exists - blue curve gets black:

Version 8 (8.25.25328.11002, 2025-11-24)

viewcapture factor 0.6

for this case even 1:1

Sorry, I can’t reproduce this issue on my side. I tested it in Rhino 8.27 Win, ~~and I will test it in Rhino Mac asap.~~

Tested in Rhino 8.27 Mac - couldn’t replicate the issue.
