Bug: Transparent layer is shown wrong

When a layer has a transparent color assigned to the layer in a block instance, Rhino 8 (and 7) renders the layer incorrectly - it either doesn’t render it at all or it renders it without transparency.

The attached set of models demonstrates this problem. Model C includes 2 instances of B, which includes an instance of A. Model A has two helper layers, one of which has a layer color set to 50% transparency.

The following video shows the problem - when selecting a block instance, the transparent layer isn’t rendered at all, and when hiding another layer (from the same block instance), the transparent layer is rendered opaque.

This isn’t a very critical problem, but it’s annoying anyway, because I rely on layer transparency to see overlapping items. I use these helper layers to keep various important points / curves for parts of a larger model hidden away but available.

Hi Gyorgy, Thanks reporting RH-91253 Layer Transparency inconsistent (and putting together the example and video)
