When I opened the latest version of Rhino WIP, there were three side panels docked on the left side - Command, Selection Filters and OSnaps, one above the other. this was great! good use of screen real estate. rearranging and resizing panels seems to be a bit flakey though - sometimes the handles work, sometimes they don’t. but the biggest issue is that once I pulled off one of the three panels, there seemed to be no way to put it back, and I’m now stuck with only being able to have two panels docked on the left side - a huge waste of screen real estate. (Intel i9 imac, lots of memory)
a follow up - I just tried again, and now the docking markers have appeared and I was able to redock the panel. so it seems the issue is that the docking markers are not showing up reliably.
Hi Ben -
If you find steps to reproduce that behavior, please let us know.

I’m having the same (or similar?) issue. Rhino 8 does not want to allow docking pallets but shows small blue rectangles indicating it might be docked there. The panles do not stick.
Hi Wim, thanks I’ve tried. The panels still do not “stick”. Here’s another screen shot. I have a number of plug-in panels (VisualArq and Datasmith) that don’t want to dock as well. Maybe I’m not doing it right. Thanks for your help.
Wim, thanks again. You’re advice helped. I was just waiting for the panel to dock itself. Now I understand. Simply one more mouse click in the right location… -cs
