after having a file open for a while editing stuff i can not fully recall the steps its also not clear at which point that happened, the layer panel became untouchable, though it indicated some response but activating, hiding or renaming became impossible, did anybody experience that?
still happening in 8.15.24352.13002, 2024-12-17, nobody from the mac users ever encounter it?

i recall copying layers and content and editing the layer materials after that a few times in a row.
I am also encountering this in Version 8 (8.16.25021.13002, 2025-01-21)

Also, please provide the output from the Rhino SystemInfo command.

maybe also make a screenshot of your entire set up of rhino, just in case that is a factor
Happening in windows too.
had this issue on and off since the upgrade to rhino8. it kind och freezes and will not let me change name/color or anything basicly.
