I have noticed a bug in the VisualARQ template. I have made some modifications to the original template to customize it according to my needs. However, once saved as a template, something strange happens:
If I close Rhino and set my template as the startup model, everything works correctly. However, if I do not close Rhino and go to File → New → and select the same template, the new file opens with all materials duplicated. This is a very frustrating bug, and I cannot understand the reason behind it.
P.S. This bug also occurs with the original VisualARQ template (the default one, without any modifications).
Hi @Alessandro_Barbisan I could not reproduce this error, and I might be wrong, but it doesn’t be related to VisualARQ. Have you tried to disable VisualARQ and Tibidabo, and see if the problem persists?
In which languages do you have Rhino and VisualARQ?
Hi @Alessandro_Barbisan I’ve changed the Rhino language to Italian, but I still can’t reproduce this issue. This is what I do, so let me know if you do anything different.
I have Rhino in Italian (and VisualARQ using the same language as Rhino (Italian))
I open a “VisualARQ 3 - Metri” template. Do a few changes, and save it as a template (Salva come modello…)
I open a new file, select my custom template, and indicate Rhino to use this file when it launches.
I check the materials, and everything is fine. No material is duplicated.
If I restart Rhino, my custom template opens, and still no material is duplicated.
