I’m on Sonoma and was testing with 8.2. I can try to see if this is repeatable on 8.1, but I’ll need someone else here to try on Ventura. Thanks

@Tom_P I could repeat it here in 8.1.23318.13002, which is a slightly older version than yours. I cannot repeat it however in the current build of the day.
In any case this is still a bug, because once you start typing, the tooltip should be gone already, like it does in V7
