Bug: Clicking 'Layouts' Shows Extra Panel

Recently (I don’t remember it ever doing this before?), when changing from Model to Layout, using the ‘Layouts…’ button along the bottom of the viewports, even if a Layouts panel is already active and showing, and even when there is only a single Layout, it ALWAYS brings up a new panel / container. I find this to be pretty annoying and I think it should not do this.

Please see example below:

Environment:

  • Version 8 (8.26.25315.14002, 2025-11-11)
  • MacOS Sequoia 15.6

Can you export your window layout to a .rhw file and post that file here?
