I’ve been looking into a solution for bringing existing dimensions from Rhino’s model space into grasshopper. I want to create a script that uses the points from dimensions to draw lines then find the intersections between the lines. That, or somehow explode the dimension to extract the underlying geometry. Any insight to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

@Rickson Thanks, I just discovered that myself actually. The only issue is, Elefront doesn’t return the endpoints of the dimension. There’s the base plane I could use, but it’s only on 1 leg. I’m trying to figure out how to automate copying the base plane over to the other leg for multiple dimensions with multiple orientations.
a number of ways to get the points to the Planes X-axis. move the points from Point 1 to the plane for 1 or deconstruct the points and reconstruct with the X value of the plane.
This should work in all conditions.
