This has been a problem for a while now (in both rhino7 and Rhino8). When I’m editing a block and drag the block edit panel off one screen into a different screen to get it out of the way that panel disappears and I can’t get it back. If I save and close my file it’s going to become a real big problem when I re-open the file as the block will stay open but if I close the block panel (when it pops up on re-opening the file) everything in the file will disappear. If I type the blockedit command I am told that BlockEdit is already running but the blockedit window doesn’t re-appear.
