Black background

just installed Rhino7. But I cant even to draw, my background is just black, there are no grid and nothing.
Checked to option - all set - Grid…

there is in option Hatch, shows black, cant change it to grid or white or anything.
on viewport settings, there background is white… but it does-nt work , all is still jsut black.

Hi @sanna.sarekanno
First thing to do is to:
Start Rhino
Type Systeminfo in the command prompt
Copy the resulting text and paste it in a post here on the forum - that will give everybody a better idea of what might be going on.
My guess - based on experience - is that you need to update your graphics card driver.

MinorServicePack failed - what does this mean?

Your video card has terribly out of date drivers–SIX YEARS OLD! Updating the driver may help, but it’s really not any good in the first place.

Yeah… as mentioned: Update your graphics card driver (it’s from 2015!), although that might just not be enough. Rhino 7 prefers (or demands, rather) a much newer and more powerful graphics card - preferably more than 4GB of video RAM. It might - or might not - be able to run in a usable maner on a graphics card made in 2013, but it’s worth a try. Get an updated driver here:

Simply that Windows isn’t telling Rhino which version of Windows it is.

Which means it would be helpful if you could find out the version of windows your computer is running and let us know. Maybe it needs to be updated as well.
