Beginner Grasshopper organisation concentric points with different Z

Hello to the community,

I am a beginner in Grasshoper and I need help with a project.

Here I am working on a simple pavilion that needs to automatically adapt to the intersection it covers.

To do this I started to create a line, but I get stuck when I have to organise the order of the points between them in order to be able to create a spline and finally the brep that will cover the famous intersection.

Having tried a path zapping, but it doesn’t work.
i join you a picture of what i have done, a drawing of what i would like to do and the gh folder.
Thank you for your kindness.

This could be one option.

Grasshopper.

Using a nurbs curve for the outer edge and Sweep2 yields a smoother, more pleasing shape that doesn’t dip below Z = 0, as the loft does (dark green in second image below).

Loft ripples below Z = 0, Sweep2 with nurbs curve rail does not:

Hello, thank you very much for this wonderful work, it’s really amazing. This example will allow me to better understand how Grasshopper works and I will improve my knowledge thanks to the tutorial and the different forum topics. However I would be very honoured to keep in touch with you for more complex cases.

Thank you for your answers and I hope to be able to help other people like you soon.

in any case joseph oster i would be very happy to continue learning under your experienced eyes.

These puzzles are (mostly) an amusing distraction. Thanks for your kind words and for posting geometry, GH code and images with your question. That makes it MUCH easier.

By the way, you might want to consider Offset Curve instead of Move for your pathways?
