AutoCAD DWG to Rhino Import Issues

Hello!

I have to deal with some dwg files and I want to use Rhino.

I just encountered 2 issues and would like to know, if there is a solution for them.

A: AutoCAD Wipeouts are unreadable for Rhino and won’t be shown at all.
B: Hatch-Orientation: Rhino rotates hatches by hatch rotation value, causing rotation value of 0 to be right. (???) (maybe has to do smth with a general hatch option like x-axis reference instead of y - I don’t know - couldn’t find such setting in the options yet in Rhino.)

Another thing I noticed:
Rhino 7 is way slower than Rhino 6 in certain dwg files - maybe there is a connection?!

Hello - if possible please send us an example file - the simpler and smaller the better, for troubleshooting - to tech@mcneel.com, to my attention, and please include a link back to this topic in your comments.

@blind-apple - thanks for sending - we got your file - the slowness in V7 is clear, I’ve made a bug track item for the developer. The hatch rotation problem you mention should be fixed in 7.5, I believe - that will be released next week.
