I just wanted to reactivate this thread because we’re still running into the same problem. In our Rhino Worksession setup—with several .3dm files attached to a main .rws file and one file dedicated to layout and printing—the “Detail on” settings in the Layers panel just won’t stick. Every time changes are made in the attached files and we reopen the layout file, all the “Detail on” settings reset back to “on.” This wipes out any custom visibility setups for our multiple layouts, messing up the entire printing workflow and rendering the approach useless. We also have a need or an idea about having global settings—like line weight—that could be applied across every attached file.
