Architectural Drafting Symbols/Tools

I really want to use Rhino for my drafting but it lacks some of the simplest standard symbols used on Arch plans to put in my layouts. Im wondering if anyone knows a good plugin/toolbar for simple drafting Architectural symbols like,- page markers, section lines with bubbles, scale with title and page ref. elevation symbols etc. - they dont really need to be dynamic either,- It seems that Rhino Layouts are 90 percent there but just doesn’t have these common symbols used on all costruction documents. I dont like going back and forth to Vectorworks or autocad for making Arch/Engineering documents and cant justify the monthly subscriptions to other cad applications todo this since most of my designing and engineering is done in rhino. This seems to be a long wished apon item. Any thoughts or suggestion?

You might find something on Food4Rhino:

Thanks John,
Been there…

You just have to do it yourself. You can export from other apps and go from there, make a template. Its not that much work. McNeel doesnt do any domain-specific content.

Thats kind of what I have been doing over time. I created a Rhino ‘Drafting Doc’ that I use to cut and paste from. Maybe a better way is to put all the plan symbols in a Layout in a template file to speed up the work flow…

Hi @hagahaus,

Maybe you can find something worthy here:
