Hello!
I am searching for a quick way to copy layers with its objects (also sublayers and its objects) as I often create different object-variations which base on the same basis-objects.
Alt + drag the layer with the basis-objects would be perfect and came first into my mind, but does not exist…
Does anyone has an idea?
(Creating a new layer with new sublayers, rename each of them, pic each object and paste it per “copy in layer” in the separate layer is not what I am searching for ;-))
Thx, Fabian
If you right-click on the parent layer and select “duplicate layer and objects”, I think that should do what you want right now.
Perfekt!
I forgot to mention, that I am currently switching (finally!) from Rhino 4 to Rhino 7, and found what you ment implemented in the new version (when ever this fabolous function was added in the meantime…)
Fantastic how Rhino has been improved!
Thank you very much, Helvetosaur!
