All furniture elements disappear

Hello,

i started my first test under real circumstances to see if VA3 would help me.

Everything went kind of fine, 2-3 crashes in 4hours. I save all 5 minutes. But you get a bit WIP feeling.

I printed my first set of Plans they looked fine, no artifacts ect. but i realised everything was rastered:

So i changed from Realistic to Technical without Hidden lines. I printed again and strange stuff started to happen.

And boom my modelspace was pixeled, i restarted rhino.
All furniture items are gone!

I opened a older version lfomr 15min from 30min even in this file the all the Furniture was gone…

I can’t get it back work gone.
I wanted to use it professionally, very frustrating…

I am creating the furniture again and saved, very quickly the old furniture showed up for 0.5s and disappeared again.

Feels like the file is mokking me. I want to work and not hunt the treasure.

Alright so i drew the Furniture again and saved my progress and decided to restart the Computer.

There was the treasure! The old file had the furniture back. The recreated file, with furniture a second time, had no more furniture again….

Is it possible the a cloud is creating difficulties?

Hi @mi.land I can’t say the reason why your furniture objects are disappearing. They are created as Grasshopper Styles (from Grasshopper definitions), meaning that if Grasshopper is not loaded properly, these objects might not be generated properly, even though they are there.

If you experience a crash, please let me know the steps you followed and share any inolved file, so we can try to reproduce it.

To print views to vector output, I recommend you to use the VisualARQ’s Hidden display mode (the Technical doesn’t’ work well with VisualARQ Levels or sections).

Thanks for being there in my frustration well. I was able to print the plans in the end with Hidden.

Next crash i will report :wink:
