After an application crash, I have lost all of my UI settings

After an application crash, I have lost all of my UI settings (toolbars, pallets, …)… It’s all of a sudden all back to ‘factory’ default.

How can I get my customization back? I didn’t do anything - the app crashed, and now its all gone.

Environment:

  • Rhino Version 8 (8.12.24282.07002, 2024-10-08)
  • MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1

Hi Ed,

There are backups available in

/Users/[yourname]/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/[version-backup-date]

https://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/mac/resetprefs

with Rhino closed just copy the backup to

/Users/[yourname]/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/[version]/settings
