Adobe pdf printing crash on new SR4 2018-4-3

new SR printing adobe pdf’s crashing everytime. system info at end of message.

tried & want to only use Rhino PDF but it also gets hung up and fails to make a pdf. or if it works there are no line weights with same settings as adobe pdf. found that scaling line weights by 4 approximates regular scale on adobe pdf.

also now with new build all of my textures are scaled like 10000% of their tiling sizing - this is killing me, is this going to keep happening with updates? how can i create a material & printing standard across all of my rhino work - vs each file with its own settings?

Any joy with fixing this yet? I can not print to adobe without crashing 90% of the time. Multiple different files and layouts. Rhino pdf does not crash, but makes file sizes 10x that of adobe driver. Have latest rhino SR installed and adobe is fully updated. Have some screenshot and .txt file (maybe generated by windows?) I can send for review.

Hi @wok,

I believe it has been fixed internally, and it might have gone out to all users. Make sure you have the latest service release installed. If it’s not fixed there you can try the service release candidate.

Hi David, Many thanks for the quick reply. Latest SR no good, but candidate 6.6.18163.7531 has fixed it. Fantastic!

Also to say that getting the latest service release candidate fixed a student’s Adobe PDF crash problem here today as well…
