I’m setting up a new machine and I can’t seem to login in to YouTrack to star issues I’d like to track. Clicking the login through Google button doesn’t do anything:
It not only google sign in, but other email authentication as well. I used an email address to login for years, but it does not recognize my login. Trying to reset my password only result in my email not being recognized. Something has changed. Can not even set up a new account. Hope they fix it.
Hi all - is this brand new behavior? Did it work yesterday?

Sorry about that. We had some issues with YouTrack a few weeks ago, and had to change the way we were subscribed to their service. The change meant paying $5/user/month, so we deleted many hundred rarely used accounts (probably yours). You should be able to see all the same things you could see before without logging in.
What was it that you wanted to do when logging in?
Understood. It was just nice to keep a list of stared records on the dashboard to watch the progress of issues that concerned me. It’s not a huge deal, just convenient. I understand if it was costing money to keep the user, especially since I’m not an employee. Since I can’t do that anymore, I’ve been been bookmarking the issues and keeping them in a folder for reference. I can do the same thing that I’ve been always doing, but just in a different way without having an account. Thanks for the clarification.
I starred items of interest to get email updates to help catch things early. Like if the assigned dev had a question, I could post an example file or if something was lost in translation between discourse and YT, I’d email @pascal.
At $5/month, I understand getting rid of our accounts. I wish I could have saved my star list, but I’ll go back to keeping my list in a text file. The downside is that I won’t see a bugfix get pushed to the WIP an hour after I report it and get to lobby for it to be pushed to V7 while the issue is still open. Without email updates, I would have assumed it was somewhere on the pile.
